DGXprt Team8 April 20264 min read

DGXprt now supports dangerous goods threshold and obligations coverage across every Australian state and territory, including Commonwealth requirements, with new improvements to SDS intelligence, upload guidance and external access to key compliance information.

Now Supporting Dangerous Goods Compliance Across Australia

With this release, DGXprt now supports dangerous goods thresholds and compliance obligations across every Australian state and territory, including Commonwealth requirements.

This gives organisations a clearer and more consistent way to assess dangerous goods storage obligations across multiple jurisdictions, without needing to manually interpret state-based rules and thresholds.

    New in 2026.4

This release expands support to include:

    • Commonwealth dangerous goods thresholds and obligations
    • South Australia dangerous goods thresholds and obligations

For South Australia, DGXprt also introduces a new licence determination layer to help organisations understand when a Dangerous Substances Licence may be required.

In addition to calculating obligations, DGXprt considers:

    • The types of dangerous goods or hazardous chemicals stored
    • Their classification and packing group
    • The quantities held
    • Relevant South Australian licence rules and exceptions

This helps organisations better understand important compliance triggers without needing to manually work through complex jurisdiction-specific rules.

More Useful SDS Data and Smarter GHS Validation

DGXprt now extracts more detailed information from SDSs and applies more granular GHS criteria validation through the SDS Quality Indicator.

New and improved extracted information includes:

    • Exact chemical names
    • CAS numbers
    • Concentration percentages
    • Density / specific gravity (where available)
    • More detailed GHS classification and validation checks

These improvements help make important chemical and compliance information easier to access inside DGXprt, without needing to dig through SDS PDFs manually.

Expanded External Access to Safety and Compliance Information

DGXprt continues to expand external access to important safety and compliance information without requiring login access.

New in 2026.4, approved DG / Hazardous Chemicals Register PDFs and Manifest PDFs can now be shared externally via QR code and public link.

DGXprt already supports external Product Registers with linked access to associated SDSs, helping organisations share important product safety information more easily with workers, contractors and other relevant parties.

Together, these capabilities make it easier to ensure critical dangerous goods and hazardous chemical information is available when and where it is needed.
